For those who are more careful and use liquid sugar on Passover in place of sugar, make this before Passover and strain through clean cotton fabric or heavy cheesecloth. Loosely place cloth over jar (I use canning jars) and secure cloth to jar with rubber band or jar ring. Carefully pour syrup over cloth into jar.

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
Instructions
Stir sugar and water in small pot over medium heat until sugar is completely dissolved and liquid is clear. Remove from heat. Strain through cheesecloth, if desired.
